One of the activities of the PENOPLEX company, a major Russian manufacturer of polymer-based construction products, is the development and production of decorative and finishing materials made of polystyrene under the brand PLINTEX®.
The PLINTEX® products are manufactured at two plants, one located in the North-Western Federal district of the Russian Federation, in the town of Kirishi (Leningrad region), the second – outside the Russian Federation, in the Republic of Kazakhstan (Kapshagay town).
The winner of the Grand Prix and the prize of 30 000 rubles became Ekaterina Vasilyeva, a designer from St. Petersburg with the project “Apartment on Kirochnaya”. The project was recognized as the winner by all members of the jury. According to the organizers of the competition, this design project meets the basic concept of the PLINTEX® brand: “Light and concise framing of the interior”.
It is supposed to use the PLINTEX® profiles in the decoration of walls, ceilings and furniture. The interior creates an imitation of the urban landscape and the atmosphere of old St. Petersburg. The PLINTEX® products perform the role of imitation of architectural elements in interior decorating
